Yesterday, the Phillies lost to the Yankees, 8-5, in the Grapefruit opener. Dontrelle Willis allowed a run on two hits while walking one and striking out none. Chad Qualls gave up three runs in one inning, two of them on a home run to Brett Gardner. Hunter Pence homered in yesterday’s game as well, as did Kevin Frandsen.
