Philadelphia Phillies (40-51) at Los Angeles Dodgers (48-43)
Roy Halladay (4-5, 3.98) vs. Stephen Fife, RHP
Time: 10:10 PM ET, Dodger Stadium
TV: CSN
Weather: Sunny, 72

The Phillies put together a three game winning streak! Can they make it four in a row? The return of Roy Halladay gives the Phillies a decent chance.
Doc is back! Halladay will be making his first appearance since May 27, when he suffered from a right lat strain. Halladay will be under a tight pitch count, but it’s always nice to have the ace back in the rotation, even if he only lasts five or six innings. Halladay has had success at Dodger Stadium, posting a 2.15 ERA.
The return of Halladay comes at a perfect time: the Phillies are riding a three game winning streak. Halladay’s return certainly gives the Phillies a boost, and hopefully they can carry the momentum. They need all the help they can get if they want to turn the season around.
Stephen Fife will be making his Major League debut. In 18 starts in Triple-A this year, Fife is 7-5 with a 4.53 ERA.
Your gameday beer: Any beer that calls itself “Entire Butt” is good in my book. But Entire Butt Porter might be the greatest beer ever created. Full of taste, it goes down like water that was magically sprayed by the gods. So godly water, really. That’s the general focus of the discussion. What do you eat with this? Something with mild spice. Something that makes you want to run to the beer and enjoy every last sip. Something … well, something warm, is the gist of the explanation I’m making. Go with beef and peppers. –By Tim
