Because of strong storms, the Phillies-Rockies game was postponed on Saturday. We’ll have a split double-header on Sunday.
The Phillies enjoyed a nice come from behind victory on Friday. Despite the victory, the Phillies couldn’t do too much damage against a struggling pitcher. They will be facing pitchers today who have poor numbers: Tyler Chatwood and Drew Pomeranz.
Cole Hamels wasn’t his best in his last start, but he continues to have a terrific season. Hamels faced the Rockies on June 19 and pitched 8 strong innings, allowing just two runs.
Tyler Cloyd is off to a solid major league start. He earned his first major league win in last start. He has 14 strikeouts in 13 innings.
We’re going with an easy drinker. This Italian Pilsner has a crisp golden pour and similarly light flavor. It’s both bubbly and hoppy and since neither are overwhelming it makes for a nice party in your mouth. Keep it going with your favorite hoagie. – By Brian
