Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports tweeted just before 1pm eastern time that the Phillies are actively looking to trade Domonic Brown to get starting pitching in return.
Sources: Phillies actively shopping OF Domonic Brown. Looking for controllable starting pitching in return. Idea is to sell high on him.

Not sure I agree with the premise that trading their best offensive player is the best way to fix the problem of the franchise, but it would not shock me if the Phillies were to unload Brown. He certainly has his issues with defense and staying healthy, but if he has 30 home run potential for a team that lacks power, what’s the point?
