Lost in the excitement of the Bobby Abreu signing today was the Phillies coming to terms with left-handed reliever Antonio Bastardo on a $2 million, one-year contract. Bastardo, 27, is the Phillies all-time leader in K/9 IP and ranks eleventh in that stat among relievers from 2011 through 2013. Despite missing the final 50 games of the 2013 season with a PED suspension, Bastardo has pitched the most innings of any Phillies reliever from 2011 through 2013 appearing in 177 games.
