Holy smokes! Snow is falling again in the Delaware Valley but baseball is back in Clearwater as the Phillies kick off their 2014 Spring Training schedule against the Toronto Blue Jays. The line-up is already set and it appears to be a line-up that the Phillies will probably use regularly throughout the season as health allows. Roberto Hernandez will take the hill against the Blue Jays who will start J.A. Happ and will also throw Kyle Drabek.

Note:

– Cole Hamels had his first bullpen session and it went “better than expected” and feels “really good physically”

Line-Up: Revere (CF), Rollins (SS), Utley (2B), Howard (1B), Byrd (RF), Abreu (DH), Brown (LF), Ruiz (C), Asche (3B)

Subs listed on the line-up card next to their names, in order: Gwynn, Cedeno, Frandsen, Ruf, Thomas, Valle, Castro, Rupp, Franco

Conspicuous by his absence is John Mayberry.

Play ball! Go Phils!
