Hernandez Strong as Phillies Lose to Rays

Currently, of all the worries with the Phillies, the rotation ranks highest. Roberto Hernandez is hoping to give the team stability every fifth day and he showed today he could be capable.

Hernandez had a solid outing, tossing three scoreless frames while striking out three. The Phillies, however, fell to the Rays, 6-1.

Michael Stutes looked terrible, giving up five runs in an inning. He has little room for error if he plans on making the team.

Once again, the team struggled to score. Dom Brown finished o-for-2 with two walks, while Maikel Franco finished 2-for-4.
