Hamels Tosses 6 Innings with Clearwater; Adams Takes Loss

Cole Hamels was sharp during his latest rehab start in Clearwater, tossing six innings and allowing just one run. He fanned six and did not walk a batter, throwing 67 pitches, 48 for strikes.

If all goes well in his next rehab start, there is a chance he rejoins the Phillies as early as April 22 in Los Angeles.

Mike Adams took the loss a Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday. He allowed one run on two hits, striking out one in one inning of work. Adams could rejoin the Phillies on Monday if the team feels he’s ready.
