The Phillies announced today that they have acquired shortstop Devin Lohman from the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for future considerations.
The 25-year-old will report right to minor league camp.
Lohman was selected in the third round of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft by the Reds, and in two seasons with Double-A Pensacola, has hit .240 with 13 HRs, 18 RBIs, and a .307 OBP.
Defensively, Lohman has .933 fielding percentage and has committed 111 errors in 1,656 chances over 410 games as a shortstop.
