A Note for Today:

Chase Utley is in the lineup as the Designated Hitter, batting third, in today’s game against the Rays. This is Utley’s first official Spring Training appearance due to a sprained right ankle he suffered back in January. According to MLB.com’s Todd Zolecki, Chase Utley has a $15 million dollar club option

that vests once Utley hits 500 plate appearances. Jesse Biddle is also scheduled to pitch in the game today.
