A note for today: David Buchanan gets the start today and looks to improve his ERA some more, which currently stands at 7.52, down from his 18.0 ERA at the beginning of the season. Ryan Howard gets the nod back into the clean up spot after heating up and hitting 3 home runs in the last week. Chase Utley gets the day off today along with Ben Revere, who will be replaced by Darren Ruf and Cesar Hernandez respectively. Cameron Rupp will be behind the plate for David Buchanan in place of Chooch. The Phillies look to get another win and split the series against the St. Louis Cardinals before heading to Miami to face the Marlins tomorrow at 7:10 pm EST. The Phillies will face Philadelphia local, Tim Cooney, a lefty from Collegeville, PA who will get his first Major League start tonight.
