A Note for Tonight:
Chad Bettis had a perfect game going against the Phillies offense last night through 6 innings before an error was charged to Troy Tulowitzki, and didn’t give up a hit until Cody Asche knocked a single into left field, past the shift, in the bottom of the 8th. The Phillies were only able to get 2 hits in the game last night after gathering 25 in the previous 3 games against the Mets.
After going 3 for 24 in the last 7 games, Odubel Herrera will see the bench as Ben Revere makes the start in center field tonight. Jeff Francouer will get the start at right field and Cody Asche will get the start again at left.
Aaron Harang will pitch his 11th game tonight against the Rockies offense that hit 3 home runs in last nights debacle, 2 to Troy Tulowitzki. Harang will pitch for his 5th win overall, holding a 1.93 ERA for the year and giving up only 2 home runs in 65.1 innings.
First pitch at 3:05 EST.
