A Note for Tonight:
The Phillies’ notable number 2, Aaron Harang, will be on the mound tonight to try and help the team to a sweep of the Cincinnati Reds. Harang gave up 2 home runs in his last start against the Colorado Rockies, going for 6.0 innings and giving up only 2 other hits on the day.
The Phillies offense will look to start the game a little earlier tonight, after going almost 7 innings without a hit against Mike Leake last night. This is the second time in a week the Phillies were unable to land a hit through the first 6 innings, the last coming against Chad Bettis on Friday, May 29th.
Cody Asche has continued his hit streak to 7 games, after going without a hit in his first 3 times around the order last night. He has a ways to go to catch the leader, Wilson Ramos, who has a 19 game hitting streak going, and Jose Abreau coming in a close second with 17 games.
Ben Revere gets back into the lineup after having 2 hits off the bench last night in the Phillies win.
Phillies looking for the sweep tonight, first pitch at 7:05 EST.
