Phillies Select High School SS Randolph in MLB Draft

With the 10th pick in the 2015 MLB Draft, the Philadelphia Phillies selected Cornelius Randolph, a high school shortstop that appears destined for a position change.

Rnadolph, 18, is a 6-1, 190 pound left-handed hitter that projects to be a solid power bat according to many draft pundits. MLB.com says Randolph could be a third baseman in the minors, however Phillies scouting director Johnny Almaraz said he’s headed to left field.
