Notes for today:

Morton has a 4-7 record with a 4.17 ERA in 14 career starts against the Brewers. The 32-year-old has a 5.05 ERA in six outings at Miller Park.  Milwaukee’s Jonathan Lucroy is 1-for-16 (.063 avg) in his career when facing Morton.

Maikel Franco, who had a two homer game against the Brewers on Friday, sports a .409/.480/.864 slash line in six road games this season.

Shortstop Freddy Galvis sports a seven-game hitting streak, during which he is batting .320. Galvis is 2-for-22 (.091 avg) in seven career games at Miller Park.

OF Ryan Braun, in 56 games against the Phillies, has a .381 batting average with 18 home runs and 49 RBI.

Former Phillies prospect Domingo Santana, who has served as the Brewers’ lead-off hitter this year, is batting .216 in night games and sports a .286 average at home this season.

Phils manager Pete Mackanin’s lineup continues to have the pitcher batting 8th.  The team has a 2-0 record since the pitcher was placed in the 8 hole.
