Good morning! Some quick news bites:
- Coca-Cola Park in Allentown is getting the largest main high-definition videoboard in Minor League Baseball.
It will stand at 43 by 73 feet beyond center field. Its mockup illustration depicts a Nick Williams graphic – while that won’t tell you who’ll be hitting cleanup for the 2017 Pigs, it’s a decent prediction …
- The Dodgers are reportedly “very open” to re-signing Chase Utley for 2017, though he could simply be a backup plan for LA.
Either way, Utley will get a job in 2017. He’s pretty much the top second baseman on the free agent market; some team (even the Phillies?) will come calling.
