Trade rumors! Like Jay Bruce to the Phillies?

Good morning! Let’s dip into the news:

With the offseason now here, we have rumors. Apparently J.D. Martinez and Howie Kendrick are rumored to be of interest to the Phils – the two outfielders would have to be acquired via trade.

We’ll have more on this soon. But not sure if Kendrick is a good fit for the Phils, as he’s basically what we hope Aaron Altherr can be. Martinez feels more likely.

The New York Post is suggesting Jay Bruce could be a Phillie via trade.

That’s not terrible, but Bruce may cost the Phils more than they want. And to the Mets. Ehh.
