UPDATE (12:04 a.m.): The deal is set, with the Phillies sending Hellickson and cash to Baltimore for Cleavinger, international bonus money and outfielder Hyun Soo Kim.
In the second year of a two-year, $7 million contract, Kim is hitting .232/.305/.288 with one home run and 10 RBI this season. Last year he hit .302/.382/.420 with six home runs and 22 RBI in 305 at bats. He’s likely to slot into the Phils bench, taking Kendrick’s spot after that trade.

UPDATE (11:43 p.m.): The Phillies will receive pitcher Garrett Cleavinger in the trade. The 23-year-old left-hander has a 6.28 ERA with 42 strikeotus and 23 walks this season for double-A Bowie.
According to Dan Connolly of MLB.com, the Phillies may also receive a major leaguer in the trade.
