According to reports, the Phillies have an agreement in place with relief pitcher Tommy Hunter. Matt Gelb had it first. Joel Sherman reports it’s a two-year deal.
Hunter, 31, had a 2.61 ERA with 64 strikeouts and 14 walks last year for Tampa Bay. He spent parts of six seasons in Baltimore, arriving there in 2011 through a trade orchestrated by then-President of Baseball Operations Andy MacPhail.
