Gameday 2018 (again): Phillies (23-16) at Orioles (13-28)

Interleague play is back, and this time the Phillies head to Baltimore for a quick two (err … one)-game series against the Orioles.

I love Camden Yards. You should too.

Pitchers: Nick Pivetta (2-2, 4.15 ERA) vs. Andrew Cashner (1-4, 4.84 ERA)

Why does it feel like Cashner is going to pitch extremely well tonight (err … today)?

Also, yes, that’s Jesmuel Valentin in left field. Go with it, I guess.

(Also, it’s raining all day in Baltimore. Who knows if this gets in. We’ll see. Baseball is fun.)

Your Gameday Beer: I’m going to go with a Night Shift Whirlpool today (sure, let’s have another). An American APA with low ABV and tons of summertime flavor (lemon, orange, pepper, zest, light hops, crisp malt). I’m excited (again)!
