Bryce Harper’s Spring Training debut for the Philadelphia Phillies this past Saturday was the highest rated exhibition game for the franchise since April of 2012, per Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Monday, Breen joined Joe Giglio on SportsRadio 94 WIP for the Clearwater check-in, to talk about Harper’s first two Spring Training games with the Phillies, the back-end of the starting rotation and how the Phillies will handle what could be an outfield logjam if Roman Quinn and Odubel Herrera are healthy at the outset of the season.
Additionally, Phillies Nation Editorial Director Tim Kelly, producing for Giglio, chimed in during the segment to talk about the Phillies lineup structure, Aaron Altherr’s future with the Phillies and the excitement that Harper has brought ahead of the 2019 season.
Kelly begins discussing the Opening Day lineup, as he did in a recent edition of Phillies Nuggets, at the 15:00 minute mark.
