Larry Shenk’s Phillies Minor League Report: 4/6/19
“The Baron” is the former Philadelphia Phillies head of community relations, a role in which he served the organization for more than four decades. Larry is also a 2018 inductee to the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.

**IronPigs (0–1) were postponed by inclement weather at home vs. the Rochester Red Wings . . . 5:35 p.m. doubleheader (7-inning games) tonight, Jared Eickhoff and Enyel De Los Santos.

**Fightin Phils (2–0) won, 6–4, over the Sea Dogs in Portland on a 10th-inning, 2-run homer by LF Cornelius Randolph, his first hit of the season. CF Mickey Moniak, 2–4, 2 runs, double (2nd), HR (#1), 2 RBI. DH Josh Stephens, 2–5, run. SF by 3B Austin Listi capped a 3-run 8th inning that tied the game . . . 3 pitchers combined to strike out 12 Sea Dogs while issuing 0 walks. ND: Adonis Medina, 5 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 4 SO. WP: Kyle Dohy (1–0), 3–1–1–0–0–5 . . . David Parkinson, 1 o’clock this afternoon in Portland, his AA debut.

ND: Damon Jones, 3–0–1–0–4–8, threw 73 pitches in the 3 innings. LP: Luis Carrasco (0–1), 2.2–4–3–2–2–4 . . . RF Matt Vierling had 2 of Clearwater’s 5 hits, including first home run, a blast into the Tiki Pavilion in LF . . . Alejandro Requena, 6:30 tonight vs. the Blue Jays.
