“The Baron” is the former Philadelphia Phillies head of community relations, a role in which he served the organization for more than four decades. Larry is also a 2018 inductee to the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.
In addition to the Phillies alumni and history work which Larry shares with readers here at Phillies Nation, his “Minor League Report” pieces now also run with us all during the season as well.

**Fightin Phils (28–20) and Erie Sea Wolves were suspended by rain. The game was scoreless in the top of the second inning and will be completed at a later date . . . Richmond Flying Squirrels come to town for a five-game series including a Saturday evening doubleheader (7-inning games) . . . Ramon Russo (3–1), will open the series, 6:45 tonight . . . Third-place Fightins are two games out of first place.

**Threshers (27–25) took the rubber game of a three-game series in Charlotte, 10–2. Put the game away with a seven-run fourth inning, most runs in an inning this season. Ended 11-game road trip with an 8–3 record . . . First-place Dunedin Blue Jays (32–20) come to Spectrum Field for a three-game weekend series. Third-place Threshers are 4.5 games out of first, one game out of second.
