“The Baron” is the former Philadelphia Phillies head of community relations, a role in which he served the organization for more than four decades. Larry is also a 2018 inductee to the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.
In addition to the Phillies alumni and history work which Larry shares with readers here at Phillies Nation, his “Minor League Report” pieces now also run with us all during the season as well.

Pitching: Starter Erik Miller made his NYPL debut as the starter, 2–2–1–0–1–2, hit batter . . . Adam Leveret, second of 4 hurlers, was the loser in his debut, 2.2–3–2–2–0–3, HR.
Hitting: Bryson Stott hit a home run in his first pro at-bat in the GCL (July 9). He did the same in his first at-bat with Williamsport, a 2-run blast in T1 into the Aberdeen bullpen in RF; 1–3, walk, hit by pitch, run, HR, 3 RBI. His third RBI came in T9 when he walked with the bases loaded. The Cutters still had 3 on with 1 out, but a strikeout and infield grounder ended the game.
