Phillies Nation has been honored to have Larry Shenk join the ranks of our regular contributors in this 2019 season.
“The Baron” is the former Philadelphia Phillies head of community relations, a role in which he served the organization for more than four decades. Larry is also a 2018 inductee to the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.
In addition to the Phillies alumni and history work which Larry shares with readers here at Phillies Nation, his “Minor League Report” appears on an almost daily basis during the season.

**Fightin Phils (18–9) were victims of rain again. Game with New Hampshire was suspended with Reading at-bat in B1, 1 run in, runners on first and third no out. It will be completed starting at 5:15 tonight with a 7-inning game to follow.
ANOTHER DH: Since Wednesday’s postponed game was the Fightins last one in Binghamton this season, the game will now be played in Reading as part of a 5:15 doubleheader (7-inning games) on July 23. Fightins will be the home team in each game.
