The Philadelphia Phillies’ 2020 regular season schedule was set on August 12. Now, their Spring Training slate has been unveiled. Once again, the Phils will play at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, Florida, ahead of the 2020 campaign. No official date for pitchers and catchers reporting has been released.
The Phillies will open their Spring Training schedule on the road against the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland, Florida, on February 22. Following that game, they play three straight at home in Clearwater with two of those being split squad.
All in all the Phils have 17 home games at Spectrum Field, which include match-ups against the Yankees, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Tigers and Rays. They will play host to Toronto on St. Patrick’s Day on March 17, a game that almost always sells out.
March 23 will be Philadelphia’s final Spring Training game before heading to Miami to open the 2020 season. The Phillies’ home opener is on April 2 against the Milwaukee Brewers.
