According to Joel Sherman of the New York Post, no players on the Phillies have tested positive for COVID-19 from yesterday’s round of tests.
Each member of the Phillies, both coaches and players, were tested yesterday for COVID-19 following this weekend’s outbreak of 11 positive cases within the Miami Marlins organization.
Though Sherman has reported no positive tests have come back yet, that can change. According to The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal, four more players of the Marlins have tested positive this morning bringing their total to 15 players since Friday.
NBC Sports Philadelphia’s Jim Salisbury reported that the Phillies plan to travel up to Yankee Stadium tomorrow afternoon for their scheduled two-game series in the Bronx. The team will get tested again today at Citizens Bank Park and head home for the night.
