Oct. 31 marks 13 years since the greatest Halloween ever. The Phillies, along with thousands of fans, celebrated their 2008 World Series victory with a parade from 20th and Market St. to Citizens Bank Park.
If you were there on that special day, we’d love to hear your story. Who were you with? Where did you stand? Which beer were you drinking? How did you feel on that special day?
Phillies Nation will compile the best stories submitted and post them to the site this Sunday, Oct. 31.
From Phillies Nation’s Brian Michael:
“I distinctly remember it being a crisp, cool fall day. I had tickets to the ceremony in CBP and was debating whether to take SEPTA or drive from my parents’ house in NE Philly. I heard reports on the radio that the trains were full and not even stopping at the stations so I decided to take my chances with driving. Amazingly, there was ZERO traffic on I-95. That alone is a memory I’ll never forget. Once I got down to the parking lot, I met up with some friends and got talking to a family parked next to us. The dad said he pulled his kids out of school for the day with “Phillies Fever” – classic.”
