Rhys Hoskins is heating up at just the right time. Hoskins now has three home runs in as many games after registering only two hits during the previous homestand.
With the bases loaded and one out in the fourth, Hoskins crushed a 2-1 fastball for a grand slam. It was his fifth home run of the season and the first grand slam of 2022 for the “beefy boys.”
It was Hoskins’ second-career grand slam. His first came on Opening Day 2019 against the Braves.
