The Philadelphia Phillies have fired manager Joe Girardi. After less than two-and-a-half seasons and a 132-141 record as the club’s skipper, Girardi was let go by President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski on Friday morning. Former bench coach Rob Thomson is in as interim.
