Friday evening’s Philadelphia Phillies-New York Mets game at Citi Field will be broadcast exclusively on Apple TV+.
This marks the second consecutive week that the Phillies have been tabbed for Friday Night Baseball, and the third time overall this season.
You will not be required to pay to watch the game on Apple TV+, instead, you’ll simply need to download the Apple TV+ app to your television or the device that you intend to watch the game on. If you already have an Apple ID that you use for your iPhone or Mac computer, you will just need to enter that information to watch Friday Night Baseball. If not, you can create an Apple ID for free.
Stephen Nelson will be the play-by-play announcer on Apple TV+, as he was when the Phillies defeated the Nationals last Friday. He’ll be joined in the booth by one-time All-Star outfielder Cliff Floyd and former ESPN
and FS`1 personality Katie Nolan. Heidi Watney will be the dugout reporter for the game. The Phillies won’t have it easy Friday night as they attempt to chip away at the Mets lead in the National League East. Three-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer will start for the Mets, with Ranger Suárez slated to get the ball for the Phillies.
If you prefer to listen to the game on the radio, Scott Franzke and Erik Kratz will have the call of the game on 1210 WPHT. Oscar Budejen will do the same in Spanish on WTTM 1680.
