Friday’s Philadelphia Phillies-Washington Nationals game will be broadcast exclusively on Apple TV+, but you won’t be required to make any payments to watch the game.
Instead, you’ll simply need to download the Apple TV+ app to your television or the device that you intend to watch the game on. If you already have an Apple ID that you use for your iPhone or Mac computer, you will just need to enter that information to watch Friday Night Baseball. If not, you can create an Apple ID for free.
This will be the second time that the Phillies have been featured on Friday Night Baseball since the All-Star Break, and not the last. Aug. 12’s game against the New York Mets at Citi Field will be on Apple TV+, as will Sept. 2’s game in San Francisco at Oracle Park.
The Phillies will see a different broadcast crew this time around from Apple TV+, with former Phillie Hunter Pence set to serve as the game analyst alongside play-by-play announcer Stephen Nelson and dugout reporter Heidi Watney.
Friday’s game will start at 7:05 p.m. ET, and the radio broadcast will be on SportsRadio 94 WIP with Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen on the call. Oscar Budejen will lead the Spanish radio broadcast on WTTM 1680.
