MLB announced next year’s spring training schedule for all 30 teams on Wednesday.

There are not a lot of surprises for the Phillies, who play their home games at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater, Florida.

The club will open with a split-squad matchup against the New York Yankees in Clearwater and the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland. Overall they’ll place 16 at home and 16 away in preparation for the 2023 season, which opens on March 30 against the Texas Rangers in Arlington.

The spring training schedule concludes with a home matchup against the Toronto Blue Jays. The Phillies will play their spring training neighbors eight times over a four-and-a-half week stretch.

Last week, MLB announced the 2023 regular season schedule with fewer division matchups and expanded interleague play.
