Hopefully you don’t have to get any major work done at your job this week.
The start times for Game 1 and Game 2 of the Philadelphia Phillies’ NLDS series against the Atlanta Braves have been announced, and they aren’t exactly in a prime-time slot.
According to MLB.com‘s Todd Zolecki, Game 1 of the series will be played at 1:07 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Game 2 will be played at 4:35 p.m. ET on Wednesday. A start time for Game 3 at Citizens Bank Park on Friday has not been announced.
It’s not yet clear what announcing crew will be on the call for the Phillies’ series. It will not be Michael Kay and Alex Rodriguez again, as ESPN/ABC‘s postseason coverage was limited to the Wild Card Series’. Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen will have the radio call on SportsRadio 94 WIP.
The Phillies will be the first of four games on Tuesday. The Houston Astros will host the Seattle Mariners on TBS at 3:05 p.m, followed by the New York Yankees welcoming the Cleveland Guardians to the Bronx at 6:38 p.m. ET, a game also scheduled to be played on TBS. The winner of tonight’s Game 3 of the NLWCS between the New York Mets and San Diego Padres will play the Los Angeles Dodgers in the night game on FS1, with the start time to be determined by which of the two teams ultimately faces the Dodgers:
