Watch: Kyle Schwarber leads off with 45th home run

It’s not possible to set a better tone than Kyle Schwarber did Monday night in Houston.

With the Philadelphia Phillies’ magic number down to one, Schwarber took the first pitch of the game from Lance McCullers and gave his team an early 1-0 lead over the Astros:

The 394-foot shot was Schwarber’s 45th of the season, making him the first Phillie to reach that mark since Ryan Howard in 2009.
