As Rideshare apps such as Uber and Lyft have exploded in use over the last decade, it’s been something of a free-for-all if you’re looking to utilize either app after a Philadelphia Phillies game at Citizens Bank Park.
That will end in the coming weeks.
The Phillies announced this week that Uber will be sponsoring a new Rideshare lot set to open later this month.
“Starting on April 20, Uber will be providing a Rideshare in Lot T for all Citizens Bank Park and Wells Fargo Center events. Fans should exit the third base gate and walk along Pattison Avenue toward Broad Street to enter the lot and request a vehicle, which will meet each rider in the designated area. The lot will also include an Uber-branded lounge with seating and a charging station.”
Based on the timeline issued by the Phillies, the lot won’t be ready for the first homestand of the season. But when the Phillies open up a four-game series with the Colorado Rockies on Thursday, April 20, the lot should be good to go.
