How to listen to Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen on Friday’s Phillies-Mets Apple TV+ broadcast

Friday’s Phillies-Mets game can only be viewed on Apple TV+.

If you’re not a subscriber, you’ll have to shell out $6.99 for a monthly subscription or sign up for a free seven-day trial if you didn’t already do so when the Phillies played the Astros in April on Apple TV+.

Wayne Randazzo, Yonder Alonso and Heidi Watney are on the call for Apple, but there’s a new feature on the broadcast that allows viewers to switch the audio to their preferred team’s radio broadcast.

The audio syncs up well with the game action, so you don’t have to worry about an annoying delay.

To turn on the Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen radio overlay, all you have to do is turn on the game, navigate to the menu options, click on the audio icon highlighted in the tweet down below and select the home broadcast feed.

It’s a cool feature that gives fans in the local viewing area a rare chance to listen along to Franzke & LA with the action perfectly synced up with the broadcast. Out-of-town fans who watch Phillies games via MLB.tv are able to watch each game with the Phillies radio broadcast overlay.

If you purchase a subscription solely to watch the Phillies-Mets game, you can cancel immediately following the game since the Phillies are not scheduled to be on Apple TV+ in July. The August and September broadcast schedule has not yet been released.

Friday’s game is scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m. ET., though there is rain in the forecast. Right-hander Taijuan Walker is scheduled to take the mound against right-hander Kodai Senga.
