With hours of rain in the forecast in Philadelphia, Wednesday’s Phillies-Braves game was postponed.
The game will be made up on Monday, September 11 as part of a separate admission day/night doubleheader. Game 1 will begin at 1:05 p.m. ET. Ticket holders for Wednesday’s postponed game will be able to attend the 1:05 p.m. ET. game. The second game will begin at the originally scheduled 6:40 p.m. ET.
Fans who purchased tickets directly from the team website for Wednesday’s postponed game will receive “a complimentary ticket offer to select remaining 2023 home games” via email. Fans who purchased tickets from a secondary market will be able to attend the makeup game on September 11.
The Phillies originally announced a new 7:15 p.m. ET start, but that was pushed back as the rain continued. The first update was provided at 6:20 p.m. ET. No other updates besides the postponement announcement were provided to fans in attendance since then.
