Watch: Phillies walk it off to clinch series against San Diego

With the Padres and Phillies playing four games in 48 hours, Sunday’s game was always going to be a war of attrition.

Advantage Phillies. Jeff Hoffman stranded the extra runner at second in the 11th and 12th innings to set up a Phillies win on a sacrifice fly by Kyle Schwarber to deliver a 7-6 Phillies win.

The win clinches a series victory for Philadelphia over San Diego. The Phillies are now 51-42. San Diego moves to 44-50 and are now 0-9 in extra-inning games.
