Bryce Harper ended the longest homerless streak of his career on Saturday night.

After driving in the tying run on a pinch hit infield single in game one, Harper launched a 1-0 changeup from left-hander Ryan Weathers into the Phillies bullpen to tie the game at one apiece.

Phillies All-Star closer Craig Kimbrel caught the ball in the corner of the bullpen.

The home run ends Harper’s homerless streak at 166 plate appearances. It’s a very good sign that the home run came against a left-handed pitcher. Coming into today, Harper slashed .222/.279/.306 with only four extra-base hits against lefties this season.

The Phillies remained tied at 1-1 in the top of the fifth inning.
