Say what you will about Bryce Harper, but the Philadelphia Phillies slugger knows how to put on a show.
The latest evidence came in the form of a two-run home run off of Los Angeles Angels reliever Matt Moore — teammates with Harper in 2021 — in the bottom of the eighth inning Wednesday afternoon. For Harper, it was his 300th career home run. It also gave the Phillies an 8-7 lead:
Harper will finish an incredible month of August with 10 home runs. He’s now passed former teammate Andrew McCutchen and is in sole possession of 12th among active players with 300 career home runs.
