Diamondbacks-Phillies NLCS: TV/Radio guide, start time and more

The National League Championship Series will feature a matchup of two of the three Wild Card representatives in the senior circuit, the Arizona Diamondbacks and Philadelphia Phillies. Here’s everything you need to know about the series, with a trip to the World Series on the line.

What Is The Format Of The NLCS?

The NLCS is a best-of-seven series. The first two games of the series will take place at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Games 3-5 will be played at Chase Field in Phoenix. Games 6 and 7 will be played at Citizens Bank Park.

Game 1 at Citizens Bank Park: Monday, Oct. 16 at 8:07 p.m. ET

Game 2 at Citizens Bank Park: Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 8:07 p.m. ET

Game 3 at Chase Field: Thursday, Oct. 19 at 5:07 p.m. ET

Game 4 at Chase Field: Friday, Oct. 20 at 8:07 p.m. ET

Game 5 at Chase Field (if necessary): Saturday, Oct. 21 at 8:07 p.m. ET

Game 6 at Citizens Bank Park (if necessary): Monday, Oct. 23 at 5:07 p.m. ET

Game 7 at Citizens Bank Park (if necessary): Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 8:07 p.m. ET

Probable Pitchers

Game 1: Zac Gallen (17-9 with a 3.47 ERA and 3.27 FIP) vs. Zack Wheeler (13-6 with a 3.61 ERA and 3.15 FIP)

Game 2: Merrill Kelly (12-8 with a 3.29 ERA and 3.85 FIP) vs. Aaron Nola (12-9 with a 4.46 ERA and 4.03 FIP)

What TV Channel Will The Diamondbacks-Phillies NLCS Be On?

The entirety of the NLCS will be televised on TBS.

Who Will The TV Announcers Be For The Diamondbacks-Phillies NLCS?

Brian Anderson — who is the TV voice of the Milwaukee Brewers and TBS‘ No. 1 play-by-player — will lead the broadcast.

Jeff Francoeur — a 12-year MLB vet who spent the 2015 campaign with the Phillies — will be a color commentator on TBS.

Ron Darling — a member of the 1986 World Series Champion New York Mets — will join Anderson and Francoeur in the No. 1 booth for the final series of the season on TBS.

Matt Winer will be the dugout reporter for TBS.

What Radio Station Will The Diamondbacks-Phillies NLCS Be On?

Locally, the Diamondbacks-Phillies NLCS can be heard on SportsRadio 94 WIP. The Spanish broadcast will be on WTTM 1680.

Who Will The Radio Announcers Be For The Diamondbacks-Phillies NLCS?

Scott Franzke, Larry Andersen, Tom McCarthy and Kevin Stocker will be on the radio call locally. Oscar Budejen and Bill “El Gringo Malo” Kulik will lead the Spanish broadcast.
