Bryce Harper used the Phillies’ off day to establish an early frontrunner for Prom King.

Harper helped a teen with a promposal on Monday. “Jake” showed up at the home of “Giulia,” as their names were revealed by the two-time MVP himself, to deliver a surprise of epic proportions.

“Jake wants to ask you to prom, so I thought I’d help him out,” Harper said. “So will you go to prom with him?”

It was a success, much to Harper’s delight. Giulia said yes, but not before an “I’m going to cry” upon seeing Harper on her doorstep.

Prom is off to a good start for them.
