When will the Phillies begin postseason play?

Game 1 of the National League Division Series is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5 at Citizens Bank Park at 4:08 p.m. ET. They will face the New York Mets in a best-of-five series. Here is the NLDS schedule:

  • Game 2: Sunday, Oct. 6 @ Citizens Bank Park at 4:08 p.m. ET.
  • Game 3: Tuesday, Oct. 8 @ Citi Field at 5:08 p.m. E.T.
  • Game 4 (if necessary): Wednesday, Oct. 9 @ Citi Field at 5:08 p.m. ET
  • Game 5 (if necessary): Friday, Oct. 11 @ Citizens Bank Park at 4:08 p.m. ET

Start times for Games 4 and 5 could shift to later in the night if the Padres-Dodgers series goes to only three or four games.

Who will the Phillies face in the NLDS?

The hated New York Mets. If the Phillies advance, they will face either the Los Angeles Dodgers or San Diego Padres in the NLCS. The Phillies would have home field advantage against the Padres but not the Dodgers.

When do gates open?

For Games 1 and 2, all gates will open at 1:38 p.m. The Phillies advise fans to be in their seats by 3:30 p.m. to watch pregame introductions prior to Game 1. Radio broadcasters Larry Andersen and Kevin Stocker will also be throwing out a ceremonial first pitch.

When do parking lots open?

For Games 1 and 2, tailgating lots (lots south of Pattison Ave.) open at 11:08 a.m. Non-tailgating lots will open at 1:08 p.m.

Where can I watch Phillies playoff games?

All Phillies 2024 playoff games will be on FOX or FS1. The home radio broadcast is also available on 94 WIP. You can also listen in Spanish on WTTM 1680 AM.

Game 1 of the NLDS will air on FOX. Games 2-5 will be on FS1. Adam Amin (play-by-play) and A.J. Pierzynski and Adam Wainwright (color analysts) are on the TV call for the games.

How can I get tickets to Phillies home playoff games?

Good luck. You can still register for a chance to purchase tickets via the lottery at Phillies.com/postseason. The registration period for the NLDS has already passed. Fans that won the drawing, which is scheduled to take place on Sept. 30, are expected to be notified via e-mail on Oct. 4.

Here are the important lottery dates for the NLCS and World Series. Fans only need to register one time to be eligible for all rounds:

  • NLCS: Registration ends Oct. 5; Lottery around Oct. 7; Winners are notified by Oct. 12
  • World Series: Registration ends Oct. 12; Lottery around Oct. 17; Winners are notified by Oct. 24

Quantities are extremely limited as most postseason tickets were purchased by the more than 20,000 Phillies full or partial season tickets holders. If you can’t get tickets via the lottery, purchase them from a reputable secondary market site such as SeatGeek, StubHub or GameTime. Beware of scams.

Single-game tickets for Games 3 and 4 at Citi Field are available at Mets.com.
