After defeating the San Diego Padres in the NLCS, the Philadelphia Phillies are now set to take on the Houston Astros in the World Series. Here’s everything you need to know before the series gets started.
What Is The Format Of The World Series?
The World Series is a best-of-seven format. The first two games of the series will be played at Minute Maid Park in Houston, before Games 3 and 4 will be at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. If necessary, Game 5 will be at Citizens Bank Park as well. Games 6 and 7 will be played at Minute Maid Park, if necessary.

What TV Channel Will The Phillies-Astros World Series Be On?
All seven games of the series will be broadcast on FOX.
Who Will The TV Announcers Be For The Phillies-Padres NLCS?
Joe Davis will be the play-by-play announcer for the World Series, succeeding Joe Buck, who had done the Fall Classic every year since 2000.
Hall of Famer John Smoltz will be the color commentator for the seventh consecutive World Series.
Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci will be the dugout reporters.
What Radio Station Will The Phillies-Padres NLCS Be On?
Locally, the World Series radio broadcast can be heard on SportsRadio 94 WIP, which can also be accessed on the free Audacy app in the Philadelphia market. Because Game 5 now conflicts with Eagles-Texans, it can be heard on both 1210 WPHT and KYW News Radio, both of which can also be heard on the free Audacy app.
Nationally, ESPN Radio will broadcast the World Series.
