Everyone loves that all four major Philadelphia sports teams play in the same area, until multiple of them are playing on the same night.
Tuesday evening, the Philadelphia Phillies will host the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 2 of the NLCS at Citizens Bank Park, with first pitch scheduled for 8:07 p.m. ET. That will be one of three major events going on at the sports complex that evening.
The Flyers — off to a 1-1 start this season — are set to host the Vancouver Canucks in their home opener, with puck drop slated for 6 p.m. ET at Wells Fargo Center.
And the event that may pack the most fans into the area Tuesday night will be the international soccer friendly between Mexico and Germany at 8 p.m. ET. That game is set to be played at Lincoln Financial Field, which has a capacity of 67,594.
The sports complex has issued an advisory to fans attending any of the three events — or planning to watch at Xfinity Live! — to “arrive early or take public transportation to all games, as well as allowing for extra travel time.”
If you are taking public transportation, rides on the Broad Street Line to and from NRG Station (the stop at the sports complex) will be free beginning at 5 p.m., courtesy of Anheuser-Busch.
