The Giants are winners of their last two contests, but previously dropped 11 of 13 games coming out the All-Star break prior to that short streak.
The Phils were expected to be active at the trading deadline, but did not make any significant moves leading up to Monday’s non-waiver cut off. They’ll head into battle at home with virtually the same group that has lost six of their last nine games.
