Think of it is as your daily Phillies watch recommendation. 7 May 2010: Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Jamie Moyer #50 during the game between the Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies on May 7, 2010. The Phillies won 7-0 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Brian Garfinkel/Icon Sportswire) May 7, 2010 - Phillies 7, Braves 0 Ten years ago today, Phillies fans were treated to a pitching performance unlike any they have seen or will ever see again in their lifetime. 47-year-old hometown hero Jamie Moyer pitched a complete game shutout, his first since 2006. He became the oldest pitcher in MLB history to record a shutout. Throughout the night, Moyer had good command of the corners and was able to entice Braves hitters into swinging at his offspeed pitches outside the zone. If there was any hard contact, the ball most likely landed into Shane Victorino's glove in center field. Moyer and the Phillies also had an eventful night at the plate. For the second-straight night, Jayson Werth belted a three-run home run with two outs. Chase Utley, Plácido Polanco, Ryan Howard, Wilson Valdez, Raúl Ibañez and Werth all recorded a two-hit game. Moyer worked out an 11 pitch at-bat in the eighth that drove the sold-out crowd at Citizens Bank Park crowd wild. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Zk0nyxfOok Braves Lineup Omar Infante, shortstopMartín Prado, second baseChipper Jones, third baseTroy Glaus, first baseMatt Diaz, left fieldDavid Ross, catcherMelky Cabrera, right fieldNate McLouth, center fieldDerek Lowe, pitcher Braves notes: Craig Kimbrel made his major league debut in the seventh inning. 2008 World Series hero Eric Hinske was the game's penultimate out.
