[caption id="attachment_80818" align="alignright" width="300"] Alec Bohm is the Phillies No. 1 overall prospect. (Cliff Welch/Icon Sportswire)[/caption] Another week of Minor League Baseball is in the books, so let's take a look at how the Philadelphia Phillies farm system performed. Records Lehigh Valley IronPigs: 16-6 Reading Fightin' Phils: 11-8 Clearwater Threshers: 10-14 Lakewood Blueclaws: 8-16 Notable Performances This is starting to become the Alec Bohm report. On Monday, the top prospect went 3-5 with three RBIs, a double and a home run. Friday he was 2-4 with a double. Bohm then added a two-run home run on Saturday. Spencer Howard had a strong outing for Clearwater this past week. Here's his line: 5.2 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 11 K. Ranger Suarez went 6.1 innings with three hits and two walks and two runs allowed. He struck out seven. Cole Irvin also had a quality start for Lehigh Valley this week. He went six innings, allowing no runs on three hits and two walks. He had seven strikeouts. Adonis Medina went five innings in his start for Reading this week. He allowed one run on three hits and four walks, while adding three punchouts. Matt Vierling went 2-4 with two runs scored and three RBIs on Friday for Clearwater. He also hit a home run. Dalton Guthrie went 3-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs for Clearwater on Wednseday. Colton Eastman had a nice start on Thursday for Lakewood. He went five innings, allowing one run, one hit and one walk. He struck out seven. Kevin Gowdy is starting to look good. He went five scoreless innings for Lakewood last Wednesday, allowing only four baserunners and striking out three. Earning The Call-up Nick Pivetta was sent to Triple-A Lehigh Valley to get himself straight after posting an 8.35 ERA in his first four starts in 2019. Things may be beginning to click for the 26-year-old righty. On Sunday, he allowed just one run on three hits, while striking out 14 batters. Well, Kyle Dohy looked to be a Seranthony Dominguez type path, but his two appearances in Lehigh Valley have not been good. In his first outing, he allowed a three-run double. In his second appearance of 2019, he allowed three runs and surrendered three walks. His Double-A dominance - he had an 0.82 ERA in six appearances for Reading in 2019 - has disappeared for the time being. Lehigh Valley catcher Deivi Grullon may be hot on the heels on Andrew Knapp. He's hitting .370 with four home runs and 15 RBIs. With Knapp's struggles, general manager Matt Klentak may not have a choice but to consider another backup catcher soon. Season Totals Here's Alec Bohm's season stats: .367/.441/.595 with a 1.036 OPS, three homers, nine doubles, 11 RBIs, 13 runs and 12 walks. Bohm may not stay with Lakewood much longer. Through three starts, Adonis Medina has an ERA of 3.00 with a WHIP of 1.33. Adam Haseley is still struggling at the plate. He's slashing .172/.286/.313 with a pair of home runs. Despite his struggles, he's still walking a lot, with 10 walks in 17 games, a sign that he's not pressing at the plate. Luis Garcia has been overmatched at the plate and in the field so far this year for Lakewood. He's hitting .195 with 23 strikeouts. He's also had eight errors in 22 games. Spencer Howard has an ERA of 2.25 after four starts. He has 30 strikeouts in 20 innings and a WHIP of 1.00. I think we will see him in Reading by June. Young pitcher Francisco Morales is struggling. He has a 7.02 ERA in 16.2 innings of work. Opponents are batting .286 against him and he has a 1.74 WHIP. Mickey Moniak's hot start has faded. He's slashing .203/.247/.377 with 23 strikeouts in 17 games. Young catcher Rafael Marchan is hitting .300 with seven walks, compared to five strikeouts. He seems to have a good eye at the plate. Cole Irvin has a 1.14 ERA after four starts for Lehigh Valley. He's pitching to contact, but he keeps getting outs. Kevin Gowdy has a 1.84 ERA after four starts. Opponents are only hitting .140 against him. He seems to be shaking off the rust, as his control has been better lately. MORE FROM PHILLIES NATION Phillies Nuggets: What’s wrong with Aaron Nola?
