Valle, 23, had career lows in every triple-slash category in 2013, hitting .203/.245/.359 in 379 plate appearances in his second season in Double-A Reading. According to our Jay Floyd, Valle has been playing right field in the Mexican Winter League, hitting .286 in 36 games with Los Mochis. Valle had been ranked the #2 prospect in the Phillies organization headed into 2012 and #11 headed into 2013.
